Employment opportunities are provided to individuals with developmental disabilities for different experiences and exploring and respecting individual preferences. A full array of work, training and other opportunities are made available. Job coaches assist with applications and interviews; locating employment that matches an individual’s goals, desires, skills and aptitudes; on-the-job training; other supports to keep a good job; and follow-along supports. Coaching services are provided on an ongoing basis throughout the individual’s participation in the program.

Job coaches also provide important education and information to employers in the community for assistance in understanding disabilities and The Center’s services. Consultation to employers enhances supports natural to the workplace.

The Center works in partnership with Vocational Rehabilitation, Jobs & Education Partnership and the Able Trust.
