A gift of cash is the easiest and most popular way you can contribute to The Center for Independence through ARC/Pasco Foundation, Inc. A cash gift is deductible on your tax return in the year the gift is made. Your gifts of furniture, household items, electronic equipment, arts & crafts suplies, etc. help in our residential homes and adult day training. In addition, giving appreciated assets, such as stocks, bonds, vehicles, real estate, allows you to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated portion if you had sold the asset. In most cases, you will be entitled to deduct the full fair market value, assuming the asset has been held long term.

Volunteers are needed in our Adult Day Training centers helping the direct care staff with programs in arts & crafts, exercise, computer skills, and other training opportunities. Locations are at the main facility in Hudson or in Dade City. You can call The Center at 727-861-5600 for further information.

The Center for Independence accepts donations given in honor, or in memory, of an individual or organization. Notice and recognition are given along with acknowledgement to the donor. Please provide the name of the person the gift is in memory of, and the name and address of the person(s) to be notified.
